Willkommen, Bienvenue, Welcome!
First and foremost, we would like to thank you for taking the time to read about us and for the coming wonderful adventure which we might experience together. We are Michaël (41) and Nicolas (39), a lovely (so say our friends) same sex couple living together since 2003 – sounds like ages ago – and happily married since 2010.
Born and raised in Belgium, we decided to move to Germany in 2011 to pursue new professional challenges. Michaël works as an IT Engineer (it’s like Chandler in “Friends”, nobody knows exactly what he is doing) and Nicolas as a Personal Assistant (it’s like Andrea from “the Devil Wears Prada” less the high heels).
We have been surrounded by children our entire life: Michael has a younger brother and has been working as a camp animator during his student time; Nicolas has 2 younger sisters (on top of 2 older brother and sister) and many cousins; all of our siblings have children now - yeah, it seems the family was productive – with whom we go hiking in the Austrian mountains as often as we can.
What we think about one another? That’s a tricky one. Michaël likes the fact that Nicolas has a natural easiness to talk to people, very outgoing and slightly extraverted. Nicolas on the contrary likes the quietness of Michaël, who is poised and thinks before acting, bringing a feeling of security in all situations. We value respect, sincerity, honesty, loyalty but above all family love and affection. We like hiking, gardening (we have a huge garden), crafting, travelling (mostly city trips in Europe) and above all, spending time together.
About 5 years ago, we decided it was time for us to enlarge our family and started researching information on all possible ways. Unfortunately, good old Europe is still, well, old and surrogacy is only starting now to be discussed. Following intensive researches, analyses and collection of information, we had the opportunity to travel to Ontario where we met many lovely and kind people, who actually comforted us in our choice to move forward with a surrogacy journey in Canada, and the excitement grows daily.
Hence our letter to you, dear Miracle Maker. Because this can only be achieved with your amazing generosity. Being overseas, it would be difficult for us to attend physically all the visits, but thanks to technology we would like to support virtually whenever possible. Nonetheless, we plan to attend the delivery. We would love to be in contact as often as it pleases you, respecting your private life as well as your family.
We are looking for you in order to carry our child and help us make our dream come true. By carrying our child and bringing them to life, you will be forever part of our little miracle.
We look forward to meeting with you.
Kindest regards,
Michaël & Nicolas
