Dear future Surrogate,

“Guten Tag from just outside Berlin“

How do we put into one page what it would mean to us if you chose to help us fulfil a dream we have carried for years? We have thought about this question for a long time. Throughout our profile, we have tried to give you a genuine sense of who we are – not just as Intended Parents, but as Christian and Marc- with our families, our little routines, our quirks and the life we share.

So, who are the two people behind this dream?

We are Christian and Marc, two men who love each other, are very close to our families and have wanted to become dads for many years. In February 2026, Marc got down on one knee and asked Christian to marry him and in October of 2026 we will be saying '‘I do’!! Becoming parents would make the family life we have imagined for so long a reality.

And of course, there is Lilly, our little Havanese, who is already at the centre of our family and will probably take her role as big sister very seriously.

What would that family life look like?

Probably not very glamorous – but definitely full of love, laughter and lots of little adventures. We imagine family breakfasts, bedtime stories, Christmas with the whole family, afternoons in our garden and plenty of time outdoors. Marc can already picture our little one sitting in a bicycle seat while the two of them explore nature together – with Lilly, of course, coming along for the ride.

Christian is looking forward to sharing family traditions, cooking Sauerkraut together and perhaps, one day, passing on his slightly unusual enthusiasm for ironing. Whether our child will share that enthusiasm remains to be seen.

Most of all, our child will grow up surrounded by family. Grandparents and other relatives here in Germany are already excited about becoming part of their everyday life, while our family in Canada will give them another home across the ocean. We hope our child will grow up feeling rooted in both places, curious about the world and always knowing how many people were waiting to welcome them.

And what would we hope to share with you?

To us, our relationship with you would never be only about the pregnancy. We see our future Surrogate as a strong, independent – and perhaps even a little fearless – woman with her own life, her own family and her own story. That is also one of the reasons why Canada’s altruistic approach to surrogacy felt right to us. At its heart, it is about people choosing to help one another and building a relationship based on trust, honesty and mutual respect.

If we are lucky enough to take this journey with you, we hope that, despite the ocean between us, we will feel like one team. We want to be present and reliable without ever being intrusive, to celebrate the happy moments together, to be open with each other when things are difficult and, above all, to respect your wishes and boundaries throughout the journey.

So, what would your decision mean to us?

Quite simply: it would change our lives. You would be helping us turn a long-held dream into something real – not just a pregnancy, but a family. We would never take that for granted.

From the very beginning, our child will grow up knowing their story. They will know how deeply they were wanted, how many people were waiting for them, and that a very special woman in Canada chose to help their two dads bring them into the world.

We hope that, long after the pregnancy is over, you will still feel that you are part of that story in whatever way feels right for you. Whether that means staying in touch, sharing occasional milestones or simply knowing how our family is growing, we would be grateful for a connection that can develop naturally over time.

Maybe, one day, we will tell them that this story started with a letter like this.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us and for considering whether this might be a

journey we could share.

With warmest wishes,

Christian & Marc
