Dear Future Surrogate,

This is by far the most important letter we’ve both written in our lives and this is one of those moments where words feel too small for the emotions we carry. How do you thank someone you have not yet met, but who might one day change your life forever?

Before anything else, we want to say this: we see you. We see your strength, your courage, and the incredible generosity it takes to even consider walking this path. What you are offering is not just help, it is a profoundly human, deeply emotional gift. And we hold that with the utmost respect.

We both grew up in big, loving families where life was loud, full, and beautifully chaotic. There was always laughter in the background, always someone to hug, always a sense of belonging despite all the chaos. Today, we are already uncles to fourteen wonderful nieces and nephews, and our lives are filled with the joy that children bring. And yet, there is a quiet space in our hearts that has always been reserved for a dream of our own - becoming parents.

That dream has been with us for as long as we can remember. We met on July 29th, 2022 - a day that changed everything. From the very beginning, we knew there was something special between us. Within a month, we became a couple. Three months later, we moved in together. After a year and a half, we got engaged, and in our second year together, we got married. Our relationship is built on honesty, deep respect, and the kind of love that feels safe and steady. We support each other, we communicate openly, and we face life side by side.

Today, our life in Munich is full of joy, stability, and love. We are surrounded by family and close friends who feel like family. We love nature, animals, and both grew up with dogs, which shaped how we care for others. We travel, we cook, we laugh a lot, and we share a life that feels full in so many ways.

And still, we dream of a child. We dream of small footsteps in our home, of bedtime stories, of family dinners that stretch long into the evening. We dream of raising a child in a home filled with warmth, safety, and unconditional love. We want to be present parents, to show up, to listen, to guide, and to celebrate every little milestone along the way. We want to give a child the same sense of belonging that shaped us.

And this is where you come in. The truth is simple and humbling: without you, this dream would not be possible. You are the reason we have hope. You are the reason we can even imagine this future. And because of that, your wellbeing will always come first for us. Not as a formality, but as something we feel deeply and genuinely. You are not just part of this journey. You are at the very heart of it.

We promise to support you in every way we can. Emotionally, practically, and with the deepest respect for you, your body, and your life. We want you to feel safe, heard, and cared for at every step. We believe that this journey should be built on trust, openness, and mutual care, and we hope to create a relationship that reflects exactly that.

We also hope for something more than a process. We hope for a connection. For honesty. For moments of shared joy along the way. However this relationship feels right to you, we will meet you there. With kindness, gratitude, and respect.

If one day our child asks where they came from, we will tell them your story. We will tell them about a remarkable woman who made their life possible. About courage. About generosity. About love that extends beyond traditional boundaries.

And we will always make sure they know just how extraordinary you are. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for even considering this path. Thank you for your bravery. Thank you for your compassion. Thank you for being the reason dreams like ours can become real.
